Philip D. Hoskinson, of New Freeport, died at the Waynesburg hospital, Tuesday morning, June 25, aged 58 years of paralysis. Mr. Hoskinson came to Waynesburg Saturday on business and was taken ill while here and was removed to the hospital where his condition continued to grow worse until death came. Mr. Hoskinson was a son of William P. Hoskinson, deceased, of New Freeport, and spent the greater part of his life in Springhill township, where he followed farming. He resided for a few years in Waynesburg. He was a member of the Baptist church. Beside his wife, Mrs. Cassie Crago Hoskinson, and his mother, he is survived by the following children: Wilbur and John Hoskinson and Mrs. Frank Hoover, of Waynesburg; Anna, Grace, Pauline and Robert, at home. Two brothers and a sister also survive, R. L. Hoskinson, of Waynesburg; George Hoskinson, of New Freeport, and Mrs. Mary S. Davis, of Connellsville. The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. N. L. Brown, of Waynesburg. Interment in the cemetery at New Freeport.
