Mrs. Rebecca E. Kinney, widow of William Kinney, of Woodruff, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Fletcher, Saturday, October 9. She was a daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Benjamin Davis and was born in Rogersville, March 12, 1850. She was united in marriage in 1868 with William Kinney, whose death occurred a few years ago. Mrs. Kinney is survived by the following children: Mrs. Belle Hughes, Rutan; Mrs. J. W. Fletcher, Bristoria; W. L. Kinney and R. S. Kinney, Woodruff. Two brothers also survive, John Davis, of Washington, and James Davis, of New Freeport. Funeral services were held on Monday, conducted by Rev. Harold Zook, of Rogersville. Interment in the family burial ground.
