Services for William Harold "Hal" Barekman were held in the Oak Law United Methodist Church. He had lived in Dallas since 1946 when he was discharged from the U.S. Army Medical Corps. He was briefly on the staff of Stephenville Hospital and Clinic before going to Dallas Dr. Barekman was a graduate of Tarleton State College, the University of Texas, and the UT Medical School in Galveston. He had also taken numerous courses in special fields. He was a Dallas radiologist and physician.
