Gordon Martin came from Windham Conn. in 1800 and 8 yrs later bought his father's farm on " Baptist Street", married, and took his father and mother to live with him. This farm was in the family four generations , and his son Daniel D. taking it from him.

(From the Book of George Martin of Salisbury Massachusetts and his descendants" published in 1939 which Listed him as the 656 Person of the 6th generation of Martins)
