Donald L. Geiger of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died after a courageous battle with cancer, Sunday, February 4, 2007 at VITAS - At Nazareth Hospital. He was 72 years old. Donald was born July 31, 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Joseph Geiger and the late Marion Geiger (nee - Belcher).
He is survived by his wife Barbara (formerly Kuestner). Father of Cristi (Mimmo) Resciniti of Voorhees, NJ, Paula Maryousseph of Marietta, GA and Stacey (Robert) Vendetti of Doylestown, PA. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren.
Don attended Central High School and Temple University in Philadelphia and Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He is a former Vice President of Human Resources for PSFS (Philadelphia Saving Fund Society). Don was a member of American Legion Post 810.
Relatives and friends were invited to his graveside service, Friday, February 9, 2007 at 12 Noon at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA. 19046. Religious services were conducted by Rev. Phyllis Taylor from Trinity Church, Oxford, 6901 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. 19111.
