US Congressman. After graduating from high school in 1925, he worked for the Chicago Motor Coach Company. He graduated from Loyola University, in 1930, from Loyola Law School in 1933, was admitted to the Illinois bar in 1934 and commenced the practice of law in Chicago, Illinois. He was the zone attorney for the Federal Housing Administration. In 1955, he was elected as a Democrat to the Eighty-fourth, Eighty-fifth and Eighty-sixth Congresses, serving until his death at age 47 in an automobile accident.
