MOUNT PERRY: David A. Bonifield, 64, of Mount Perry, Ohio, went home to be with our Lord, Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus after a short battle with lung cancer.

He was born December 20, 1945, in Hopewell, a son of the late Harold and Opal Beall Bonifield. He was a graduate of West Muskingum High School Class of 1965. He worked at Mosaic Tile, Pepsi for 23 years, Essex Wire and Longaberger. He loved his family, grandchildren, two great grandsons, bowling, playing cards with his family and watching his favorite shows on T.V. His favorite pastime was sitting at the kitchen table, watching the squirrels and enjoying a cup of coffee.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, his children, his step children, his sisters, nine grandsons; five granddaughters; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold (Butch) and Charles (Chuck) Bonifield; and a granddaughter, Jessica Bonifield.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 with Rev. Joseph A. DiVincenzo officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Sterling Cemetery.
