Francis F. Freeman of 474 Duane Street, age 56 years, passed away suddenly on Good Friday, April 19, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chicago, of a heart attack, having been a sufferer for some time from this cause.
The funeral was held from the family home to St. Petronille Church on Monday, April 22, at ___ a.m., followed by interment at Mount Carmel cemetery.
Mr. Freeman is survived by his devoted wife, Mrs. Elizabeth T. Freeman, and two daughters, Miss Frances Freeman of New York and Mrs. Marjorie F. Lefkow of Glen Ellyn. Miss Frances Freeman came from New York for the funeral and has spent some time with her mother.
Mr. Freeman was born in Boston in 1879. He came to Chicago in 1917 and was employed by the First National Bank in the city.
The family came to Glen Ellyn in 1922 where the daughters graduated from Glenbard High School.
Many beautiful flowers sent by a host of friends attested to the high esteem and respect in which Mr. Freeman was held by all who knew him.
