Deborah Hull married Jesse Brush circa 1794. Two daughters, Genette and Antonette Marie were born to this couple. After the death of Jesse Brush, the widow, Deborah (Hull) Brush, married the widower, the Hon. Samuel Burr Sherwood, circa 1816. Samuel Sherwood's first wife was Charity Hull, a sister to Deborah. After Judge Sherwood's death in 1833, Deborah Sherwood lived with her daughter, Gennette/Genette (Brush) Avery, in Wooster, OH.

Mrs. Sherwood's will was probated 27 June 1843 in NY. It provided information on other relatives:

Deborah Sherwood is buried next to the Averys. It's possible that her stone was upright at one time, but by 2011 it is flat on the ground (Char Graf).
