Dewey "Bill" Lee Pack, 89, of Ansted passed away Wednesday March 19, 2003, at Ansted Center, following a long illness. Mr. Pack was born Nov. 26, 1913, in Streeter, W.Va.
He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church of Victor.
He was a retired foreman for the West Virginia Department of Highways at Glen Ferris for 24 years.

He was preceded in death by:
His wife, Alma Mae Jenkins Pack, who passed away June 2, 1999; and a son, Dennis Leon Pack.

He was the son of the late Samuel John Tilden Pack and Margaret Elizabeth [Dunbar] Pack (Streeter) both are buried at the Lilly Crews Cemetery Nimitz

Other survivors are daughters, Lila Buca of Woodbridge, Va., Phyllis Cassidy of Lynch Edward of Va., and Ruth Dixon of Hebron, Ind.; sons, David Pack of Ansted and Derold Pack of Sacramento, Calif.; sisters, Mildred Hatcher and Marie Lilly of Jumping Branch; a brother, Bert Pack of Gallipolis, Ohio; 16 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Service Sunday, March 23, at Hopewell Baptist Church, Victor with the Rev. Don Walker and the Rev. Mason Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Highlawn Memorial Park at Oak Hill. Arrangements are by Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home, Ansted.
