World War II Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He was killed in action. He served as a Private First Class in the United States Army in Company G, 85th Infantry, 10th Mountain Division. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for action on April 14, 1945 near Castel d'Aiano, Italy. (bio by: Don Morfe)
