She was the daughter of Adolphus and Lina Cannaday of Parker and lived in this area until the death of her husband, Forrest G. True, in 1963. For the past four years she managed a motel in Las Vegas.
She is survived by a son, Luther Richardson; two sisters, Mrs. Faye Conyers, Muncie, and Mrs. Eva Clark, Huntington, W.Va.; and one granddaughter.
Services will be conducted Thursday in Las Vegas and the body will be returned to Meeks Mortuary where additional services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday. Rev. Henry Williams of the Tillotson Ave. Church of God will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery.
