Legendary American Photojournalist and master of the photo essay. Most well known for his powerful photography during WW II; the Life Magazine photo essays Country Doctor, Spanish Village, Nurse Midwife, and A Man of Mercy; and his book Minimata. His single image entitled "A Walk Through Paradise Garden", part of the family of man exhibition, is perhaps the most widely reproduced photograph of all time.
