As a solo artist, he released 3 albums and had hits with such recordings as, 'Not Again,' 'Illusions,' 'Get You Back,' 'West Side Boogie,' and 'Tri 7/5,' among many others. Lane also worked with many other artists including, Rob Ickes, Wayne Taylor, Tim Stafford, Jason Burleson, appearing on several of their albums doing guest appearances, as well as many compilations.
