Wife of Gummo Marx. They were married on March 16, 1929. Helen had a two year old daughter, Kay, from her previous marriage, over whom she and her new husband were later involved in a custody battle with her relatives. Luckily for them, they won this custody battle, and in 1930 they had their son Robert. Their family enjoyed a quiet peaceful existence through the following decades. They were living in Florida when Helen passed away at the beginning of 1976.
