Major League Baseball Player. He was an outfielder and first baseman, making his debut for the St. Louis Browns on May 30, 1922. For seven seasons, he played with the St. Louis Browns (1922-26), New York Yankees (1927-29) and Boston Red Sox in 1930. He also was a member of the New York Yankees 1927 and 1928, World Series Championship teams. He ended his career with a record of 269 hits, 145 runs scored, 15 home runs, 122 runs batted in and a .244 batting average.
