Levi was the son of Robert Smith Todd, Sr and 1st wife Elizabeth Anne Parker.

He married Louise Searle in 1843.

They were the parents of 6 children-Edward Owen (died young), Robert Stewart, Ella Lindsey, James Searle (died young), Louisa Howard (Keys), and Susannah.

At the time of his death Levi & his wife were separated & had filed for divorce.

He died at the Broadway Hotel in Lexington and was buried in an unmarked grave in the Todd family plot of the Lexington Cemetery

Note: The above bio seems to contain an error. It states, "At the time of his death Levi & his wife were separated & had filed for divorce." However, how is that possible, when Levi died in 1865 and wife Louise Searles Todd died four years earlier?
