Actress. Born Emily B. Hanie, her film career spanned from 1913 until 1930, mostly on the silent screen. Her noted films include "Robin Hood" (1922, with Douglas Fairbanks), "The New Butler" (1925, with Richard Talmadge), "Memory Lane" (1926, with Eleanor Boardman), and "Ranson's Folly" (1926, with Richard Barthelmess). Her final appearance was in the sound film "One Romantic Night" (1930). She then retired from acting and ran a successful high class bordello that was mostly sponsored by MGM Studios for the purpose of entertaining their out-of-town clientele. She died at the age of 76.
