Country Musician. Buck was born on March 21, 1940, in Thessalon, Ontario, Canada. In 1967 he released his debut album, "Gary Buck's Country Scene" in 1967 on the Tower Records Label. He later became involved in the establishment of the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame on the Stampede Grounds in Calgary, Alberta. Buck also became a producer and worked on albums including, "Hard Rock: Everlasting Life," "Standing In The Dark" "Spirit Of Rock N Roll," "Run," "Way To Survive," "Judy Weldon Country Hits...1992," and "Bound For Movin' On." Buck continued to record and produce several albums and singles over the next several years, and in 2001 he was inducted into the Canadian Country Music of Hall by the Canadian Country Music Association. He died in Didsbury, Alberta, on October 15, 2003, following a battle with cancer. Buck's several recordings include hits like, 'The Weatherman,' 'Break The News To Lisa,' 'Mr. Brown,' and several religious songs like, 'Don’t Be Standin’ On The Outside,' 'The Upper Hand,' 'Just A Closer Walk With Thee,' 'Don’t Lay The Blame On Jesus,' 'You Don’t Bring Anything In,' and 'Where Would John Baptize Jesus.'
