Lyle C. Doom, 88, of Lincoln died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2003, at Memorial Medical Ceneter. He was born Jan. 5, 1915, near Athens, the son of Elmer C. and Jessie May Sexton Doom. He married Marjorie Priddy in 1939 in Bowling Green, Mo. Mr. Doom was a retired farmer. He was a member of Lincoln Christian Church and it's Friendship Corner Class, Logan County Farm Bureau and Elkhart Grade School Board. Survivors: wife, Marjorie; two sons, Robert (wife, Sharon) Doom of Glendale, Ariz., and David (wife, Linda) Doom of Springfield; two daughters, Elaine (husband, Roy) Logsdon of Centerville, Iowa, and Diane (husband, Tim) Ingalsbe of Cantrall; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Wilma Hale of Springfield. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, Tom Gerdts and Paul Odom officiating. Burial: Oak Ridge Cemetery.
