CORDELIA YANCY: Services for Cordelia Yancy, 89, 500 W. 1st. will be 2 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Criswell Funeral Home, with Bud Ross conducting the rites. Burial will be in Egypt Cemetery.
Mrs. Yancy died today in her home.
She was born, Dec. 24, 1889, in Haskell County, Indian Territory, to Elijiah and Elizabeth More Mayhan, and came here about 1916 from Sigler. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
On Dec. 26, 1909 she married Oscar Yancy. He died Sept. 15, 1946.
Survivors include two daughters, Eva Mathis and Ethel Archer, both of Ada, seven sons, Conda, Casa Grande, Ariz., Doy, Orland, Calif., Walter, Oklanoma City, Ector, Tulsa, Raymind, Coy, and Lester, all of Ada; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
