US Congressman. Elected to represent Ohio's 15th District in the United States House of Representatives, he served from 1967 to 1993. Also served as a candidate in primary for Ohio State Attorney General in 1956, and Member of the Ohio State House of Representatives from 1961 to 1967. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Army, and was a recipient of the Silver Star.
