Major League Baseball Player. Born in Newburgh, New York, he was a right handed pitcher making his debut on July 25, 1951, with the New York Giants. For five season, he played with the New York Giants (1951-55) and was a pitcher for the Giants in the 1951 World Series. He ended his career with a record of 18 wins, 10 losses, 6 complete games, 2 shutouts, 5 saves, 142 strikeouts and a 3.98 earned run average. He died at age 76 in Geneva, Illinois.
