MASS SLATED TOMORROW FOR MRS. HALAS, 70

Wake Will Continue Thru Today
Mass for Mrs. Min Halas, 70, wife of George Halas, owner and coach of the Chicago Bears football team, will be said noon tomorrow in St. Ita's Catholic church, 1220 Catalpa av. A wake was held for her last night in the chapel at 6125 Clark st. and will continue from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. today.
The funeral procession from the chapel to the church will begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Adalbert's cemetery.
Mrs. Halas was found dead Monday in her home at the Edgewater Beach apartments, 5555 Sheridan rd. Dr. Andrew Toman, county coroner, said an autopsy yesterday disclosed that her death was caused by an acute coronary occlusion, or heart attack.

Halas, Son Return
Halas and his son, George Jr., president and general manager of the Bears, returned from Palm Beach, where they had been attending a meeting of the National Football league.
Mrs. Halas is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Virginia McCaskey, and 12 grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Halas were to have celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on Friday.
An eight-man delegation of the National Football league will fly to Chicago tomorrow to attend the funeral, a league spokesman said yesterday in Palm Beach.

The delegation will include Charles Bidwill, president of the St. Louis Cardinals; Joseph Donoghue, vice president of the Philadelphia Eagles; Dominic Olejniczak, president of the Green Bay Packers; Tim Mara, vice president of the New York Giants; Arthur M. Rooney, president of the Pittsburgh Steelers; Harry F. Standish, assistant league treasurer; Edwin J. Anderson, general manager of the Detroit Lions; and Fred Trowbridge, legal counsel for the Green Bay Packers.
