Obit: Mitchell Stonewall Jackson (Tobe) Woolery, 80, was found dead at his home two miles North of Wilhite store last Saturday suffering a heart ailment. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Robberts, who live on the farm adjoining Mr. Woolery's place, discovered he was dead when they returned from Columbia at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon with some groceries they had purchased for him. They had seen Mr. Woolery at 11 o'clock that morning and he informed them he was not feeling well. They offered to buy groceries for him while they were in Columbia. Upon their return they found him lying dead on his bed. Coroner E. J. (Barney) Ward was called and said no inquest was necessary. The body was removed to the Willett Funeral home, where the body will remain until funeral services are held there at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon with the Elder Lloyd Sapp officiating. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery. Mr. Woolery is survived by two daughters, Mrs. N. C. McHalffey and Mrs. Ed Holloway, both of Columbia; two sons, Joel Woolery, Rock Island, Ill. and William Woolery, San Francisco; and one brother, Ed Woolery of Columbia.
