Governor of Hungary. Military figure and father of King Mathias Corvinus. Spent most of his life fighting the Ottomans. He also was involved in the death of the last Count of Celje as well as disputes with Vlad of Wallachia and his family. These were his words before the Battle of Varna: "To escape is impossible, to surrender is unthinkable. Let's fight with bravery and honor our arms."
