Twylla Jean Mortensen 63, passed away Nov. 23, 2011 at her home in St. Anthony surrounded by her family.

Twylla was born Jan. 3, 1948 in Rexburg, Idaho the daughter of Lamont and Doris Edenia Klingler Mortensen Anderson. She grew up in Salem, ID.; a short time in California and in St. Anthony. She attended Sugar Salem Schools in Idaho and graduated from Verdugo Hills High School in CA. She also attended Cal State Northridge in CA.

She was a active member of the LDS Church serving in a multitude of callings. She loved serving others any way she could. Twylla served for many years at the Fremont Co. Fair in photography and arts. She donated time and materials to various parades, floats and community productions including church road shows. She enjoyed oil painting, water color painting, crafting, photography, gardening and she especially loved making beautiful greeting cards and reading. Twylla was a fun Aunt and you could always find the nieces and nephews gathered around her doing crafts of one kind or another.

She worked for her Uncles Grant and Darwin Klingler in the potatoes, Kings Dept. Store in Rexburg, Stone Town & Country in St. Anthony and for 35 years at ARTCO Printing in Rexburg retiring in July of 2011.

She is survived by her Step father Louis Anderson, St. Anthony, ID.; Siblings - Julie (David) Harden, Boise, ID.; Rick (Debbie) Mortensen and Terry (Lois) Mortensen, both of Salem, ID.; and a brother in law Vard Wright , Wilford, ID. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Doris Anderson, Father, Lamont Mortensen, a sister DiAnn Wright and a Niece Tina Mortensen.

Services will be conducted Monday. Nov. 28, 2011 at 11:00 in the Twin Groves 2nd LDS Ward with Bishop Gerald Hackworth, Officiating. Burial will be in the Rexburg, Cemetery.
