Polish Nobility. Born Elżbieta Granowska z Pileckich, the only daughter of the Sandomierz voivode in Lesser Poland. After a first marriage contract with Wincenty (1397), an aristocrat of the lower nobility, having been widowed (1410), she married King Vladislav II by now at his third marriage. November 19, 1417 Elizabeth was crowned consort Queen of Poland. Initially buried in Wavel Cathedral in Krakow, she was later moved and her grave is still unknown.
