Professional Hockey Player. A native of Chelsey, Ontario, he played for teams in the National Hockey League (NHL), Pacific Coast Hockey Association (PCHA), and the West Coast Hockey League (WCHL). He played for the Vancouver Millionaires from 1914 to 1919, and 1920 to 1922, Vancouver Maroons from 1922 to 1926, Chicago Blackhawks from 1926 to 1928, Pittsburgh Pirates from 1928 to 1929, and the Boston Bruins from 1928 to 1930. He won the Stanley Cup in 1915 and 1929. On May 31, 1940, McKay suffered a heart attack while driving his car near Ymir, British Columbia, Canada, causing it to crash. He died instantly. MacKay was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1952.
