Providence — Kenneth W. Phillips, 77, Providence, died Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, in Madisonville.
He worked as a line supervisor at the plastic factory in Providence until the early 1970s and then was a coal miner for 18 years. He also was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Janice; one daughter, Kelley Cullen; two sons, Rickie Phillips and Jeff Phillips, both of Providence; one sister, Margaret Taylor of Dixon; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Jones & Erdman Funeral Home in Providence. Interment will be in White Oak Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home
