Dearest Family and friends,
I just opened this letter a few days ago as I was making room for new videos.
In the drawer was a large envelope of get well cards, and a very few opened Sympathy cards from when Julie passed on in 1983.
I have not opened this envelope since I sealed it in 1983, but decided to open it just a few days ago when I found it.
In this evvelope was a letter from my brother Johnny Tyler who passed on in 1997, Johnny wrote this letter 4 days after Julie died.
It is my wish to share that letter from Johnny with you all now. Just keep in mind I am copying it just as Johnny wrote it, and spelled each word......just as Johnny wrote it.

Tish,
I'm writing this in case that I don't get to see you.
first of all, you know that we all loved Julie. I will always remember
her as I last saw her last August (1982) ........Pretty, and growing into a a beautiful young lady. I am sorry that I can't stay for the funeral, but I can at least pay my respects today. (Saturday) 5-30-83
A year or so ago I had an idea that know now can not work unless we all love each other and forget a lot of things. You are probably surprised to hear that from me, but I have been doing a lot of thinking about a lot of things. the idea that I had was....Our Father will soon be Seventy five, and I thought it would be nice if we could all be together for him. What I am about to say is my opinion only, Several of us came a long way to Say good by to Julie. Ronnie would have , but could not, I don't know why you you could not come to richard's and Sandra's it's not big deal, after all we have talked on the phone, so what's the big deal. the situation here with people coming and going, plus the ammount of us would make it difficult to say the least, you know that, you've been here with a house full. I'll tell you now that my feelings are pretty strong now, I guess that will change as time goes by.
I really did want to see you for more than just a few moments, but I think this letter is a better idea.
Tish, I also hope you know we all share your loss, and will miss Julie alot. I also know that she is O.K.
I still do not want to give up the idea for Our Father's 75th Birthday,
I will hope and try for it to happen
Tish I also hope you know that we all all care, and hope the best for you in whatever you do. I guess that's about all I have to say, I don't write a very good letter, but this time I felt the need.
Love
Johnny
