Major League Baseball Player. He pitched for five different teams in three leagues (The National League, Union Association and American Association) during his five year career which lasted from 1878 and 1885. He never had a winning season in the Major Leagues, with his best year being 13-22 in 1878 for Indianapolis of the NL...his first year in the Majors. Finished his career with a lifetime record of 23 wins and 52 losses with a 2.98 era in 79 games. Arm injuries curtailed his career. He passed away from Nephritis at the age of 55.
