MARION - Daniel J. Caulder, 90, a retired carpenter, died Monday at a Goldsboro, N.C. hospital.
The funeral will 11 a.m. Wednesday at Smith Brothers Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Caulder was born in Marion County, a son of the late Jim and Mrs. Cealy Herring Caulder.
Surviving are four sons, Jesse Caulder of Greensboro, N.C., McKinley Caulder and Joseph Caulder, both of Marion, and Major Caulder of Mullins; two daughters, Mrs. Martha Lowe of Greensboro and Mrs. Clarice Smith of Florence; 40 grandchildren; and 80 great grandchildren.
