Mary Ann "Annie" Lafler, age 98, a 72 year resident of Ferndale, passed away on November 28, 2011 at Seasons Hospice in Sinai Grace, Detroit, Mich. She was born November 9, 1913 in Nashville, Tenn. Mary Ann is predeceased by her husband, William Lafler (1979) and a daughter, Lura Misener. She is survived by her children, William (Sandra) Lafler of Kalamazoo, Mich, Karen (Robert) Szymanski of Warren, Mich and Leo (Margaret) Lafler of Ferndale, Mich. Mother-in-law of Charles Misener of Madison Heights, Mich. Grandmother of 16. Great-Grandmother of 28. Great-Great-Grandmother of four. Sister of Irene Gorlitz. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Visitation on Friday, 3-9 p.m. Funeral service Saturday, 11 a.m. at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights, Mich.
