Ruth M. Burge, 68, of Bringhurst,
died at 7:25 p.m . Feb. 18,
1992, at St. Elizabeth Hospital,
Lafayette.

Born Nov. 29, 1923, in Hudson,
Ill., she was the daughter of George
and Mable Carpenter Arbuckle.
Her marriage was on Jan. 31, 1941,
to Leonard Burge, who survives.

She was a member of the Zion
Tabernacle Church in Frankfort.

Also surviving are five sons,
Keith Burge, Roger Burge, and
Rick Burge, all of Bringhurst; Dennis
Burge of Delphi, and Tony
Burge of Flora; three daughters,
Delores Howe of Flora, Karen Percell
of Brookston, and Bea Glass of
Delphi; one brother, Carroll Arbuckle
of Bloomington, Ill.; five
sisters, Evelyn Hicks and Betty
Tomlinson, both of Bloomington,
Ill.; Marjorie Peasley of Waynesville,
Ill.; Doris Coffey of Winfield,
Mo.; and Ruby Hatcher of
Crystal Springs, Fla.; 23
grandchildren; and 14 great-
grandchildren.
