My beloved and beautiful aunt, Titi Yoly, was born in Coamo, Puerto Rico, the second daughter of Ramón Soltero and Juana Olivencia. As a child she was separated from her sister Letty and was adopted by a wonderful family with four children who adored her and always treated her like their little doll. She grew up surrounded by love and lived most of her life in New York, where the family moved when she was just a child. She grew up to be an exceptionally beautiful girl, just like her sister Letty.

On October 14, 1950 she married a former marine named Henry Ramírez Rivera and had two beautiful daughters, Myrna Iris "Minnie" and Yvonne "Bonnie".

In 1956 she learned that she had an older sister and came to visit her in Puerto Rico to meet her, her husband and her five children, as well as her biological mother and the rest of the family. I still remember the day she arrived. I had never seen such a beautiful woman in my life, I thought she was a movie star! And my new cousins were so pretty and shy! It was love at first sight for all of us, and I have always felt that my mother really started to live when she got her sister back. From that moment on, they never separated again. She decided to stay in Puerto Rico to be with her new family and a few years later she had a baby girl named Nayda Leticia (Chiqui) and a boy named José Enrique (Ricky), the baby of the family and a great toy for all his older cousins.

Titi Yoly has always been a very special person to me and she filled my life with love.
