Robert Earl Spragg, 74, of Wayneburg R.D. 5 (Oak Forest) died at 11:30 a.m., Monday, October 5, 1981, following a long illness.

He was born March 27, 1907, in Waynesburg, a son of the late James Ira and Pearl Blacka Spragg.

He lived his entire life in the Pursley community and was a member of the Pursley Baptist Church. He was a member of Cement Masons Local 256 and for more than 30 years worked as a cement finisher with Harrison Construction Co. and various other construction firms.

His wife, Nellie Kerr Spragg, whom he married February 26, 1935, survives along with a son, two granddaughters, two sisters, and a brother.

A daughter, Alfretta, and a brother, Allen, are deceased.
