Albert Edwin served in France in WWI. He worked as a Carpenter at White's Cement Works, Swanscombe until retirement in 1955. During WWII he served in St John's Ambulance Brigade. He had several pet fox-terriers and was a keen gardener. He very rarely left Swanscombe after WWI. He developed bone cancer and died in Joyce Green Hospital, Dartford, on 11th August 1964. He was cremated at Eltham Crematorium.
