Broadcaster. He joined KDKA Radio, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1946, and added television to his repertoire a decade later. He was an announcer for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1957 to 1962. In 1969, he joined Pittsburgh television station WTAE, Channel 4, as a news co-anchor, and retired on December 30, 1994, a month shy of his 79th birthday.
