Obituary
The remains of the late Catherine Allgier was consigned to the grave September 24, 1902, at the Middlebrook Catholic Cemetery. Prior to her death she had been a constant sufferer for a number of years, but patiently endured her pain until September 22, 1902.
She was born in Wax Hurst, Germany on November 25, 1821. In 1841 she was married to Nicholas Allgier and eight children were born to them, four of which survive her, namely:
Tony, Peter, Nicholas, and Mrs Catherine Martin.
She was a faithful member of the Catholic Church, as well as a devoted mother. Mrs. Allgier was a woman whose ability in many lines was appreciated and understood only by those who knew her best.
Thus when called to the silent halls of death, she passed away happy and by many bereft.
Her relatives wish to express their thanks to those who have been so kind and helpful during her long illness.
A Daughter (Probably Mrs Catherine Martin)
