Florence Belle Judson ("Belle") was the middle daughter of Hamilton Harris Judson and Lucy Alice Parker Judson. She married William McDonald on December 25, 1907, at Farmington, Minnesota. William became Agriculture Commissioner for the Province of British Columbia, Canada, and died suddenly while on a business trip on November 24, 1924, at which time Belle returned to Farmington, Minnesota. Belle and William had five children: William Judson McDonald (died at 2 days), William Judson McDonald, Janet Elizabeth McDonald (Partlow); Flora Lucy McDonald (Williamson), and Stella Dorothy McDonald (Colebank).

Preceded in death by her second son, William at age 17, Belle passed away following a long battle with cancer on June 10, 1952.
