The daughter of Tom and Alta Fields and born in Jay, Oklahoma. Sister to Roy, Sam, Des, Bill, and Denver, and Callie, Winona, Thelma and Dollie.

Ruby married Leon Hall and together they had two daughters. Bethel and Gale. They lived in the Oceanside, Cardiff By The Sea, San Diego areas as the girls were growing up.

Ruby and Leon divorced, and later Ruby married George Wray.

Bethel passed away of cancer three months after Ruby and is buried close by Ruby and George.

Bethel's daughter Rhea passed away of cancer March 17, 2015 and is buried in Joshua Tree.
