Adella was named after Ottmar's mother, Adelhite Othmar (Bader) Nesselhoff.
Adella was united in marriage to George W. Reed, son of Pleasant David and Dora Louise (Schrader) Reed.
Adella and George were the parents of five children, all girls:
1. Dorothy born 1913 married Edmund Rust Call
2. Helen Jospehine born 1916 married(#1) Orlie Eugene Dutton (#2) John Freeman
3. Emma Mildred born 1918 married Harry Roscoe Ellis
4. Eileen born 1921 married Joseph Nicholas Fehrenbach
5. Eleanor Norene born 1924, remained single
George passed away in 1925 at the age of 40 years. His parents who lived next door, helped raise the young girls. Eleanor, the youngest, suffered from a brain injury in infancy and required lifetime care.
Adella passed away 16 Sep 1990 in Kansas City, Wyandotte, Kansas and was laid to rest with her husband and in-laws in Highland Park Cemetery.
