Richard S. Richter, 56, of 186 Sycamore Street, Painesville, Ohio, formerly of Greene County, died at 12:40 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 1983, in Lake County Memorial Hospital East in Painesville following a short illness.
He was born March 23, 1927, in Fayette County, a son of Helen Dorothy Phillips Richter Chadderton of Bobtown and the late Wiliam Richter.
Mr. Richter was an employee of Coe Manufacturing. He had spent several years in Greene County and had resided in Painesville for the past 32 years.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Genevieve Gaines Richter; one daughter, three sons, five grandchildren; and two brothers.
One daughter, Brenda Lee Richter, is deceased.
