The Oklahoman, Feb 5, 1972:
V. F. Fuson, 67, of 3630 NW 47, died Friday in his home. Services will be at 10 am Monday at Hahn-Cook, Street & Draper Funeral Home with entombment in Rose Hill Mausoleum.

Fuson was born in Fletcher and moved to Lawton as a child and came to Oklahoma City in 1938. He served in various capacities for several business firms involved in oil and real estate. He was employed by British-American Oil Co, Signal Oil Co, Ashland Oil Co and Kingwood Oil Co.

He was a member of the Petroleum Club and American Assn of Petroleum Landmen. Fuson was a member of First Presbyterian Church. A graduate of Central High School, he attended the University of Oklahoman and Oklahoma State University.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia; a son, J. R., of the home; a daughter, Mrs W. H. McReynolds, Fort Worth, TX; and two grandchildren.
