TOLEDO -- George A. Smothers, 59, 1527 Biscayne, died Monday, while working on a car at his home.
---A native of Holgate, he was a brother of Mrs. Goldie Shartzer, Hamler. He lived in Toledo 42 years.
---Other survivors are his wife, two sons, two daughters, a brother William, and sister, Mrs. Ester Anderson, all in Toledo, a sister, Mrs. Doris Welch, Lambertville, Mich., and 19 grandchildren.
---Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the H. H. Brikenkamp Mortuary, Trilby, with burial in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
