Sister of Saint Liberata born in Rocca d'Olgisio, Pianello Val Tidone, Piacenza.
Of noble origins, the two sisters retired to a hermitage located in the western part of the historic center of Como, founded a Benedictine monastery in honor of Santa Margherita, lived with humility and dedicated to prayer and died there in the fame of great holiness, around 580. They are remembered on January 19.
