Son to the Lieutenant Governor of Eastland County, Texas. He was born in Chavez, New Mexico near Roswell to George Allen Davisson & Belva Abbe Reed. They moved to Eastland, Texas when he was a boy. After growing up in Eastland, he went into the services in WWII. He became a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force for the United States of America. George came home after seving his country and died in Eastland in 1962.
