Gladys B. Kilgore, 94, of Conway, died Dec. 22, 2003.
She was born Oct. 30, 1909, near Clinton, to the late Frances and George Bell. She was educated in Oklahoma, graduating from Oklahoma Central University in Edmond, Okla.
She became a resident of Shreveport, La., in 1938 and remained there until moving to Conway in 1998. She taught high school in Oklahoma and Louisiana and was a member of the First Baptist Church for many years and the Ellerbe Baptist Church of Shreveport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyatt.
She is survived by a son, W. Merle Kilgore and wife, Judy, of Paris, Tenn.; a daughter, Charlotte Craig and husband, Don, of Conway, five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery in Shreveport with the Rev. Dennis Sims officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arkansas Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 552 Little Rock, Ark., 72203-0552.
