Mary came from France with her family. They first appear in the 1850 Paducah Census. She first married William Hammond in 1854 and to this marriage came 4 children; Frances, Henry, Charles and James. She then married Jesse G Daughtrey in 1869; they had four children, Robert, Unknown, Ida May, and Rosalie. Jesse divorced her and she married, Charles Bouguion (1883) later divorced. She married Gustave Winkelmann (1888) Later divorced. Married James Munroe King 1906 and divorced. Then she married James Edward Stokes after 1925. She ran a brothel in Paducah.
